Forecast for 2026

What about 2026?  Will it be different?  Yes, in some ways.  2025 was a “9” year (2+0+2+5=9), the end of a cycle, symbolizing a year for finishing things in preparation for 2026, a “1” year (2+0+2+6=10; 1+0=1), the beginning of a new cycle, symbolizing a year for starting new things.  For reference, the previous “9” year was 2016 (2+0+1+6=9), and the previous “1” year was 2017 (2+0+1+7=10; 1+0=1).  Did you start or acquire something in 2017 that culminated, ended, was sold, or disposed of in 2025?  If so, that is the essence of these nine-year recurring cycles.

 So, will 2026 be better? Will it feel different?  In many ways, probably not, as there is a lot of energy and dynamics that are carrying over.  With most long cycles, things don’t make sharp changes; they flow as one year fades away and the new year grows and takes over. 

Forecast for November 1-10

October ends and November starts with none of the ten modern planets in an earth sign, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn.  There are four basic elements in western astrology, tarot, and many other systems, fire, earth, air, and water.Statistically, no planets in an earth sign occurs in less than 8% of charts.  The absence of planets in earth signs suggests being ungrounded, more likely to have a false or different sense of reality or a feeling that something is off, unsteady, or lacks specifics.  This will last until 3:28 am EST, when the Moon will enter Virgo on election day, November 3.  Early voting in Dixville Notch and other similar sites will be completed and counted before the Moon enters Virgo.  Even so, a missing element and two major aspects before the end of Daylight Savings Time at 2:00 am is unusual.  After the clocks “fall” back one hour, some may feel as if those first two aspects are on replay, they aren’t, not really, though it might feel that way.  Some may feel off-balance, unsteady, confused, or uncertain in their choices and life. 

There will be four more major, plus one quincunx aspects after DST ends on the 1st.  Just in time for the US Midterm Elections, later on the 1st or early on the 2nd, a new Moon Wobble should start.  Expect an increase in natural disasters, local, regional, or international chaos events and a more general feeling as if something is “off.”  This Moon Wobble should last until early December.  There will be four major aspects on the 2nd, and 3 major and 3 quincunxes on Election Day, the 3rd, to keep us guessing as to what the outcome will be. DON’T FORGET TO VOTE!  On the 4th, we have the retrograde Mercury inferior conjunction Sun as they align with the Earth, and on the 5th, Mars will enter His shadow.  The 6th offers just one major and one quincunx aspects.  The 7th offers three major and two quincunx aspects.  We have the Full Taurus Moon late on the 8th (PST), and early on the 9th for Mountain, Central and Eastern time zones.  The Moon will make four waning aspects on the 10th to end this period. 

11/01/26 – 12:51 am – fast Moon waxing fire trine retrograde Neptune

It is Sunday morning and it looks like November is getting off to a busy start.  This pause and review of any recent action’s trine is the first of six major aspects by the Moon and one quincunx aspect by the Sun today.  Two of them before DST ends at 2 am.  What you are working on may be trying to “tell you something” so you can better express what is developing. 

About 3/4 hour later (1:39 am), the fast Moon will make a fixed opposition to (OoBS) Pluto for the second aspect of the day.  Oppositions symbolize a balance point between two different but complimentary energies.  Also referred to as “harvest” time, a time for realizing what is being created.  With both coming during the night, note any dreams, insights, awarenesses, symbols, feelings, or other sensations that come to you during the night or on waking. 

11/01/26 – 2:00 am (all time US zones) – Daylight Savings Time Ends

Clocks “Fall Back” one hour.  Check yours to make sure they have adjusted.  If they haven’t, you may need to do it yourself.  Otherwise, you may be running late all day.  If something is feeling “off,” remember, there will be no planets in earth signs for the next two days. 

About 2 1/4 hours later (4:16 am), the decelerating Moon will make a waxing pause and review of any new things started recently sextile to retrograde Uranus for the third aspect of the day.  Will this be your early “wake-up call?”  If something does wake you early, note the time, what it was with as much detail as possible. 

Less than four hours later (8:01 am), the Sun will make a waning inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Saturn for the only non-major aspect of the day.  Surprise!  Another early wake-up?  Maybe this isn’t the day to sleep in.  With Saturn involved, it could be about some detail you might have missed or just a reminder that whatever you do today, pay close attention to the details. 

11/01/26 – 12:08 pm – decelerating Moon waxing fire trine retrograde Saturn

This is the fourth aspect of the day and the second pause and review of any actions taken recently trine.  As you review any recent actions you have taken, consider what results were you expecting?  If you are asked to justify those actions, could you?  Can you describe the action and explain why you expected the desired outcome?  If something needs to be modified, best do it now or at the first opportunity you have. 

Just twenty minutes later (12:28 pm), the decelerating Moon will make a waning fixed crisis of consciousness square to the Sun.  Time to re-evaluate what you have and what you expect your intended actions to achieve.  This is the time to eliminate anything that doesn’t add value or functionality to the finished product. 

11/01/26 – 10:26 pm – decelerating Moon waning fixed square retrograde Mercury

This is the second crisis of consciousness square of the day and the sixth major and final aspect of the day.  It’s late so this may be about how you should start your Monday morning.  Note any dreams, insights, premonitions, feelings, or other sensations you may have as the day ends, during the night, or when you wake up tomorrow. 

11/02/26 – 12:31 am – New Moon Wobble Begins

As the Sun crosses 9 Scorpio 56’, they move within 17 degrees of making exact squares to both the North and South Lunar Nodes, suggesting the beginning of a new “Moon Wobble.”  By squaring both Nodes, the Sun creates a dynamic and powerful T-Square aspect pattern, and it is the day before the Midterm Elections.  What could go wrong?  Extra caution and awareness are called for over the next five weeks.  Be aware of your surroundings.  Avoid confrontations and arguments.  Watch out for the other guy, the one who causes accidents.  Better to be safe than the lead story on the evening news. 

11/02/26 – 5:49 am – decelerating Moon fixed fire conjunction Mars

Nothing quite like starting a Monday morning new Moon Wobble with a new Moon Mars cycle.  Conjunctions symbolize new beginnings, full of potential and the challenges that come with it.  If there is something new that you want to start now, this energy should be there to support you.  However, extra caution and attention to details is advised.  With a long Moon Wobble ahead, things could go “off the rails” if you aren’t careful.  While Moon Wobbles generally relate to larger scale disasters and events, they will involve people, sometimes a lot of people.  Pay attention.  Don’t be one of them.  This applies to all Mars aspects during this and any other Moon Wobble. 

11/02/26 – 2:51 pm – decelerating Moon fixed fire conjunction shadow Jupiter

This is the second new beginning of the day.  With Jupiter in His shadow, there is an increased chance that you may encounter delays, need to revisit, or even restart anything new you begin today.  Pay attention to the details.  Recheck your work frequently.  Avoid shortcuts and don’t skip any steps. 

11/02/26 – 4:10 pm – decelerating Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waning finish something sextile to retrograde Venus, as She crosses 25 Leo 18’, the Moon will go void-of-course for about 8 1/4 hours.  The Moon will be void-of-course when those early eastern polling places open at midnight.  In the field of mundane astrology, which is the astrology of countries and other political and business entities, the Moon symbolizes the people.  Election day starts with the Moon void-of-course and for the Mountain, Pacific, and further west time zones, the day will end as She goes void-of-course again late tonight.  Does this mean the early voters may be confused or perhaps they will be more determined not to be deceived anymore.  Time will tell. 

11/03/26 – 12:00 am EST – First Polls Open in Dixville Notch, NH

The registered voters from Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, will cast their ballots in the Midterm Election, after which their polling place will close, and the ballots will be counted.  Theirs will be the first results reported.  The registered voters in Dixville Notch tend to identify as Republican or Independent.  While this isn’t a Presidential election year, the early results may still provide a clue as to how this, the most important midterm election day so far this century may go. 

11/03/26 – 12:28 am PST (3:28 am EST) – decelerating Moon enters mutable earth Virgo

Most eastern polling places will open at 7:00 am with the Moon in Virgo.  In Greek mythology, the Goddess Astraea, who sat in judgment of mankind, was the last of the Gods and Goddesses to leave the earth.  In honor of Her service, She was placed in the heavens as the constellation Virgo.  In Her outstretched right hand, She holds the Scales of Justice, symbol of the sign of Libra.  How will She judge us on this election day? 

Just over 3 1/2 hours later (4:04 am PST, 7:04 am EST), right after most polls open in the Eastern Time Zone, the decelerating Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Neptune.  What surprise might He have in store for us?  Perhaps some “dreams” or “nightmares” will come true.  Perhaps some illusions and delusions will be washed away as He is Lord of oceans and other waterways.  Today has the potential for being a very interesting day for most, and an upsetting day for some.  Remember, we are in a Moon Wobble, so turn up your “Spidey” senses and be extra cautious and aware of your surroundings. 

Two hours later (6:04 am), with most Central and Mountain time Zone polls also open, the decelerating Moon will make a waning inconjunct/ quincunx to (OoBS) Pluto.  What surprise might He have in store for us?  When Pluto is Out-of-Bounds South, it symbolizes the people taking their power back and the decline of power in the elite few such as dictators, despots, megalomaniacs, and royalty. 

11/03/26 – 8:36 am – decelerating Moon waxing mutable squareretrograde Uranus

With retrograde Uranus involved and both in mutable, changeable signs, this crisis of action square, the first of three exact major aspects today, could symbolize a shift in the energies of today.  There have already been two quincunxes this morning, and there will be a third later today.  If you are keeping count, that is three major and three quincunx aspects on election day, but not for all time zones.  The last two major aspects won’t be until tomorrow morning in the Eastern Time Zone. 

Just over eight hours later (4:42 pm), the average Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Saturn for the third and final one today.  Surprise!  Did you miss an important detail?  Have you forgotten to vote?  Let’s hope not. 

11/03/26 – 9:34 pm – average Moon waning sextile Sun

This finish something sextile may be saying something to us regarding how today may turn out, but if so, what?  This aspect is a last opportunity for any reorganizing that you might want or need to do before their New Moon conjunction in five days. 

11/03/26 10:57 pm – average Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following another waning sextile, this time to retrograde Mercury, the Moon will go void-of-course for over 31 1/2 hours.  Yes, “Virginia,” She will be void-of-course all day tomorrow, so don’t expect to know what the final outcome of this election is tonight, even if some “call it.”  Change is the nature of mutable signs. 

11/04/26 – 2:31 am – retrograde Venus waxing sextile shadow Jupiter

There are only two aspects today, both early.  This is the pause and review of any new things started recently sextile.  It also provides an opportunity for any organizing or reorganizing in preparation for whatever action you will take at the coming crisis of action square.  Be sure to note any dreams, insights, “a-ha” moments, feelings, or other sensations that come to you during the night or on waking.  There could be some early morning updates to the voting that prove significant. 

11/04/26 – 6:24 am – retrograde Mercury Inferior fixed water Conjunction Sun

This conjunction is at 12 Scorpio 11’.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “An inventor inventing.”  This symbol shows that sometimes, we need to trust our instincts, our knowledge, and take chances to achieve the outcome we seek.  It also tells us that not every idea works the first time.  Modify, adapt, and try again.  Success is never guaranteed.  This suggests there will be some surprises before the election count is over, probably some positive for both sides. 

11/05/26 – 6:38 am – average Moon enters cardinal air Libra

It’s a new day.  With the Moon now in the sign of the other, of relationships and sharing the planet with over 8 billion other people, cooperation takes center stage, at least for a couple of days.  Will we have a better idea of the outcome of the election?  Maybe so, but remember, “Justice is blind!” 

Less than one hour later (7:35 am), as He crosses 20 Leo 56’, Mars will enter His shadow.  He will spend just over seven months making His three transits of His shadow from 20 Leo 56’ to 10 Virgo 26’, and back again before finally leaving His shadow on June 7, 2027.  Bar the doors and hunker down as this could be a rather challenging time as He will make three trips over President Trump’s natal Mars and ascendant and anyone else who has natal planets and sensitive points within Mars’ shadow.  If you do too, welcome to the club.  Remember, close counts in horseshoes, ballroom dancing, and aspects. 

11/05/26 – 10:18 am – average Moon cardinal opposition retrograde Neptune

This opposition is from the Moon in airy Libra to Neptune in fiery Aries and is the first of four exact major aspects today.  Air feeds fire, fire moves air.  They compliment and support each other.  The opposition is about finding balance, it is also the midpoint in a cycle when you should be able to realize what you have been working on has become, and can see how it will evolve from here to completion. 

11/05/26 – 12:28 pm – average Moon waning air trine (OoBS) Pluto

This is the pause and plan your next action trine.  Your next action comes with the crisis of consciousness square which is next in sequence.  What you are working on and what it will look like when completed should be clear in your mind now.  Time to plan and implement the steps necessary to get there.  Perhaps, by now, the election results will be at a point where the two sides must decide what, if any actions to take regarding the results.  If you haven’t already, you may want to start keeping track of the various lawsuits as they are filed. 

11/05/26 – 2:55 pm – average Moon waxing air trine retrograde Uranus

This is the pause and review of any recent action’s trine.  Together with the trine to Pluto, these three planets, the Moon, Uranus, and Pluto, create what is known as a Grand Air Trine.  There is a general ease about Grand Trines as the energy can flow more freely between them.  However, this ease can lead to complacency, a lack of effort when needed to achieve a goal.  Those under the influence of a Grand Trine can easily miss an opportunity by being inattentive or expecting a reward without earning it.  You won’t win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket.  “I could …”, doesn’t get things done.  “I will …”, does! 

11/05/26 – 11:12 pm – average Moon cardinal opposition retrograde Saturn

It is getting late, so this is probably about tomorrow.  There won’t be another major aspect for almost 24 hours.  Be sure to note any dreams, sudden feelings, insights, or other sensations you may have as they may provide guidance for taking advantage of this energy.  Pay close attention to all the details, big and small.  Start with them in the morning. 

11/06/26 – 11:02 pm – slowing Moon waxing sextile shadow Mars

This is the pause and review of any new things started recently sextile.  You may want to start with what you started yesterday or today as Mars entered His shadow.  You will be “revisiting them two more times in the months ahead.  If you “fix” any missed or remaining issues now, they won’t become big problems to deal with in the coming months. 

Over 1 1/2 hours earlier (9:24 pm), retrograde Mercury will make a waning inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Saturn for the only other aspect today.  You may want to recheck those details and actions one more time.  Chances are that they will be coming up again before Mercury completes their current retrograde cycle. 

11/07/26 – 2:50 am – slowing Moon cardinal air conjunction retrograde Venus

This conjunction of the two Grand Ladies of the Zodiac is at 23 Libra 45’.  Since they appear to be heading in opposite directions, this conjunction could be more challenging.  Are you planning on starting something new in the morning?  If so, make sure you have everything you need to get it done. 

11/07/26 – 5:20 am – slowing Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waxing pause and review of any new things started recently sextile to shadow Jupiter, as She crosses 25 Libra 04’, the slowing Moon will go void-of-course for over nine hours, until entering fixed water Scorpio at 2:40 pm.  If things seemed intense before, they may feel even more so now.

Just over four hours later (6:22 pm), the slowing Moon will make a waning inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Neptune.  This surprise may have to do with something that you thought you had taken care of.  If you are going to do something, do your best, otherwise, you may have to do it over, and in this case, with Neptune retrograde, more than once. 

11/07/26 – 8:44 pm – slowing Moon waning fixed square (OoBS) Pluto

This evening’s crisis of consciousness, reevaluating square suggests that there may be something that you thought you had done but didn’t.  You may want to start your day tomorrow by double checking things, just to be sure. 

Over two hours later (11:02 pm), the slowing Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Uranus to end the day.  With retrograde Uranus involved, this could manifest as a repeating dream, memory, feeling, or other sensation.  If so, note what it was with as much detail as possible. 

11/08/26 – 5:02 am – slowing Moon fixed water conjunction retrograde Mercury

This conjunction is at 7 Scorpio 32’.  With both appearing to be moving in opposite directions, your thoughts or words may not seem quite right to you.  Are you misremembering something or is it a false memory of something that never actually happened?  It could be either or something else.  Choose your words carefully today.  Keep a clear head on your shoulders.  Keep both feet firmly planted on the ground.  Avoid confrontations or arguments.  This too shall pass. 

Just 2 1/2 hours later (7:32 am), the slowing Moon will make a waning inconjunct/quincunx to retrograde Saturn.  It’s Sunday morning coming down.  Saturn is about status, structure, and following the rules.  Chance is a low value option.  If you are going to take a chance, it better be a sure thing. 

11/08/26 – 11:02 pm – Slowing New Moon fixed water conjunction Sun

This New Moon is at 16 Scorpio 53’.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A woman, the father of her own child.”  This suggests the ability or need to be self-sufficient, responsible for your own life.  It may symbolize someone who has had to assume the role of both mother and father, such as a single parent household, or a child who, due to family circumstances, has to assume a parental role or just raise themself, perhaps because of abandonment.  It may also represent the person who is able to function independently, without the need for assistance from others, a self-directed, self-actualizing person. 

The process of becoming pregnant without male sperm is known as parthenogenesis, which has been observed in several species, including some sharks and various reptiles.  Females of some snake species have the ability to store the sperm from male partners for years for later use in fertilizing their eggs. 

Are you going to start, or restart, something at this time?  This symbol suggests that this would be a good time to start something that is either personal or you can complete or achieve on your own.

This is the first of two consecutive Monday crisis of action squares today.  This suggests focusing on newer work in progress.  This is a decision time aspect.  You need to decide which items to work on and what actions to take to move them forward.  Plan your work, then work your plan. 

11/09/26 – 11:37 am – slow Moon goes Out-of-Bounds South

As She crosses 23 Scorpio 22’, the slow Moon will make Her monthly trip lower beyond the Sun’s southern boundary.  People, issues, things from the past may seem to come up more frequently for the next few days.  They could be old memories to help you deal with current issues or they may serve as reminders of how you dealt with similar things in the past or of things left undone.  Don’t forget to be present, that is where we live. 

11/09/26 – 3:25 pm – slow (OoBS) Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following the second waxing fixed crisis of action square, this time to shadow Jupiter, as She crosses 25 Leo 19’, the slow Moon will go void-of-course for nine hours, until entering Sagittarius early tomorrow morning.  You may want to take a few minutes to review your priorities, just to make sure that you are on track.  Avoid starting anything new for the rest of the day.  If you can, should something new come up, set it aside for tomorrow, otherwise, do the minimum, make some notes so you won’t forget, then set it aside. 

11/09/26 – 10:48 pm – retrograde Venus waxing sextile shadow Mars

This pause and review of any new things started recently sextile is their second since their conjunction on January 7, 2026.  Their first was May 18, 2026, and their third and final waxing sextile of this cycle will be December 12, 2026.  Did you start something new around the date of their conjunction?  Perhaps a new relationship or the process of acquiring some desired item?  If so, whatever you may have started, if you haven’t completed it, how is it developing?  Why haven’t you completed it?  What will your next action be to get it moving forward to completion? 

They previously made two waxing squares, the first on July 29 and the second on October 10.  Their third and final waxing square of this cycle will be January 16, 2027, shortly after Mars stations retrograde. 

11/10/26 – 12:36 am – slow (OoBS) Moon enters mutable fire Sagittarius

Now in optimistic, philosophical Sagittarius, some may feel as if things have gotten “lighter,” compared to fixed water Scorpio.  This can be a good time for a one day or night class on something that intrigues or excites you.  Enjoy it while it lasts. 

11/10/26 – 4:20 am – slow (OoBS) Moon waning fire trine retrograde Neptune

This early morning pause and plan your next actions trine, could be an early wake up as you get some new idea or realization through a dream, insight, feeling, or other sensation.  It may also be a good place to start your day by focusing on older or other work in progress that has a short due date. 

11/10/26 – 6:56 am – slow (OoBS) Moon waning sextile (OoBS) Pluto

This finish something sextile comes as many will be starting their workday.  Finishing something can be a good morale boost to start and end your day.  Nothing like a sense of accomplishment to get the endorphins to kick in. 

11/10/26 – 9:04 am – slow (OoBS) Moon mutable opposition retrograde Uranus

The opposition is the midpoint in a cycle, a time to find a balance within ourselves and with the work we are doing.  It is also the point at which one should be able to realize what they are “creating,” and a renewed sense of the potential for what it will become. 

11/10/26 – 5:48 pm – slow (OoBS) Moon waning fire trine retrograde Saturn

This pause and plan your next action trine is the last aspect of the day.  It is a good time to consider and plan how you will start your day tomorrow.  

Forecast for November 11-20

There will be only one major aspect, and that one not until the night of the 11th.  The 12th will try to make up for it with four major and one quincunx aspects.  On the 13th, both Mercury and then Venus will station direct, leaving just three planets, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in apparent retrograde motion.  Now there are four planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter), in their shadows. The 14th offers two major and two quincunx aspects.  The 15th offers six major aspects including shadow Mars conjunct shadow Jupiter.  The 16th has but one major aspect while the 17th offers four major aspects.  The 18th will offer two major aspects, then the 19th will come in with two major and four quincunx aspects as the Sun goes void-of-course.  This could be a very tumultuous day for some.  This period ends on the 20th with four major and one quincunx aspects.
