Forecast for April 1–10

April starts with April Fool’s Day and Mercury stationing retrograde ending over two months of “Pure Progress,” a period with no planets retrograde.  Expect more obstacles, challenges, or interruptions as we head through spring into another summer of retrogrades.  On the 2nd, the Moon will make five exact major aspects, and, on the 3rd, Venus will conjunct Neptune, then go void-of-course until entering Aries on the 4th.  Things may seem to settle down for a bit until on the 8th, when we have the total Solar Eclipse, one of four conjunctions, the only aspects that day.  On the 10th, Mars will conjunct Saturn, one of five exact major aspects that day.

04/01/24 – April Fool’s Day!

04/01/24 – 10:49 am – average (OOB) Moon waning sextile Mars

With a series of waning aspects today seems to be saying, take time to finish any unfinished work leftover from March that needs to be completed.  The waning sextile is the last major aspect before the conjunction, new beginning.  Time to get things finished and to begin planning what new things you want to start next.

04/01/24 – 3:14 pm – shadow Mercury stations Retrograde

Mercury is at 27 Aries 13′ as they appear to stop in preparation for changing direction and going retrograde.  Mercury will end up spending four days at this degree.  Those with a planet or sensitive point at or near this degree, should feel it the strongest.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A large, disappointed audience.”  Have you recently attended or are you planning on attending a large event?  This doesn’t mean you will be disappointed, but it does suggest caution.  Your expectations may be too high or perhaps just different than what is being presented.  The solution may be to keep an open mind and be flexible.  Know where you are going and why.  At this time with the 2024 election taking center stage, perhaps that is where the disappointment for many will lie.

This is the first of three Mercury retrogrades in 2024.  All of them will involve fire signs suggesting that this could be a year of spiritual journeys for many.  Passions may run high as we move through another hot dry summer ahead.  This retrograde will last until April 25, when Mercury will station direct at 15 Aries 59’.  Those with planets or sensitive points from 15 to 28 Aries may feel this the strongest.  Those with planets or sensitive points from 15 to 28 of one of the other cardinal signs, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, may also feel this more strongly.  Double check, spell check, reread all communications before sending.  Whatever “things” come up that you have to redo, fix, modify, or apologize for, take your time and do it right!

04/01/24 – 8:15 pm – accelerating (OOB) Moon waning cardinal square Sun

This is the crisis of consciousness square, the aspect that precedes the waning sextile.  What actions do you need to take to pare things down to the essentials?  Time to eliminate the negative and accentuate the positive.

Wrapping up the day, 1 1/2 hours later, the Moon will make a waning sextile to Saturn.  This is another get things finished aspect.  Be sure that you adhere to any and all instructions and double check everything as Mercury is now retrograde.

04/02/24 – 4:44 am – accelerating (OOB) Moon waning earth trine Jupiter

This is the first of five exact waning aspects, all by the Moon today.  Today is a good day to focus on older work in progress, things that need or should be completed this month.  The waning trine is the take time to consider what actions you want to take on the coming crisis of consciousness square.  What should you let go of or eliminate?  Think before choosing.

04/02/24 – 10:20 am – accelerating (OOB) Moon waning earth trine Uranus

This is the second aspect today and suggests that you should continue to focus on older work in progress as you consider what actions to take next.

04/02/24 – 9:11 pm – accelerating (OOB) Moon waning square retrograde Mercury

After a “slow” day, the evening starts to heat up as there will be three aspects tonight.  This crisis of consciousness square is the third aspect today and the first of three this evening.  Less than one hour later, the Moon will make a waning sextile to Venus for the fourth aspect of the day.  It is late, but you may still be able to get some things finished or at least ready to finish.

04/02/24 – 10:40 pm – accelerating Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waning sextile to Neptune, the fifth and final aspect of the day, the Moon goes void-of-course for 3 1/2 hours.  Coming late in the day, you may want to use this one to consider what new things you want or need to start at the coming conjunctions.  Just don’t start anything new until tomorrow, after the Moon is in Aquarius.

04/03/24 – 2:08 am – accelerating (OOB) Moon enters Aquarius

Most will sleep through this shift from cardinal earth business oriented Capricorn to fixed air revolutionary sign of causes Aquarius.

04/03/24 – 5:23 am – fast (OOB) Moon fixed conjunction Pluto

This is the beginning of a new Moon Pluto cycle.  What new, hopefully transformative thing do you want to start today?

 Less than 30 minutes later, Venus will make a mutable conjunction with Neptune at 28 Pisces 00’, after which, Venus goes Void-of-Course for almost 39 hours.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A prism.”  A prism splits the Sun’s light into different visible wavelengths.  This suggests that if you are confronted with a problem or difficult task, consider breaking it down into smaller, more doable parts.  With Venus void-of-course, avoid starting any new significant relationships or taking an existing one to the next level.  Wait to make any major purchases or financial commitments, at least until after Venus enters Aries.  With Neptune involved, note any dreams you had in the night, first impressions, feelings, or other sensation on waking.  This could be a good day for “daydreaming.”  If you do, note any dreams you have with as much detail as you can.

04/03/24 – 1:12 pm – fast Moon returns In Bounds

The Moon is at 6 Aquarius 30’ when She returns in bounds.  You may feel the emphasis shifting from the past to the present, from missing what you no longer have to appreciating all that you do have.

04/04/24 – 3:45 am – fast (OOB) Moon waning sextile Sun

This is their last major aspect before their New Moon Total Solar Eclipse on April 8.  Note any dreams, insights, “a-ha,” moments, feelings or other sensations that come to you in the night or on waking.  They may provide you with clues as to what new thing you should start with the eclipse.

04/04/24 – 8:43 am – fast Moon waning fixed square Jupiter

This is the first of two crisis of consciousness squares today.  With Jupiter involved, go big, or maybe in this case, go smaller since it is time to pare things down.  Choose wisely.  Proceed carefully, you don’t want to “eliminate” something that is essential to the finished product.

04/04/24 – 1:24 pm – fast Moon waning fixed square Uranus

Now it is Uranus’ turn to add His energy to the mix.  Think creatively, don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone.  If something has sentimental value, and you don’t want to get rid of it, then set it aside as a keepsake or souvenir and move on.

04/04/24 – 9:00 pm – Venus enters Aries

Venus is now in the sign of Her detriment where She is weakest, and perhaps most vulnerable.  Before making any major financial obligations or purchasing any high priced items, take time to reconsider and research.  Reread any contracts and warranties.  Make sure you understand everything, especially the fine print, before signing or purchasing.  The same goes for any relationships, particularly any that you think you might want to take to the next level.

04/04/24 – 10:40 pm – fast Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waning sextile to retrograde Mercury, the Moon goes void-of-course for just over 5 1/2 hours.  It is late, so most should be able to sleep through this.  If you aren’t one of them, just don’t start anything new until after the Moon enters Pisces.  The waning sextile is the get things finished and plan for the new beginning aspect.

04/05/24 – 4:13 am – fast Moon enters Pisces

Now in mutable water, emotional Pisces, some may feel the shift as they start their day.  Some may notice that others seem more emotional, moody, as they may swing from one extreme to another.

04/05/24 – 10:08 pm – fast Moon mutable conjunction Mars

This is their monthly meeting marking the end of the old cycle and the beginning of the new one.  Consider what you might want to start now.  Mars symbolizes how we get the things we want.  What is it you want?  Is it something that is reasonably obtainable in the next month?  If so, start making your plans.  Sleep on them.  Then get started tomorrow.

04/06/24 – 3:10 am – fast Moon mutable conjunction Saturn

Now it is Saturn’s turn in the spotlight as the old cycle ends and the new one begins.  With Mars you might be more aggressive, seeking immediate gratification.  With Saturn, take your time, have a solid plan, and keep your goal in sight.

04/06/24 – 10:13 am – fast Moon waning sextile Jupiter

Just 33 minutes later, Venus will make a waxing sextile to Pluto.  This pair of aspects fall on either side of the conjunction.  The waning symbolizes the time to finish and prepare while the waxing symbolizes the time to review and prepare.  While the waning prepares for a new beginning the waxing prepares for the crisis of action square.  This suggests that you may want to split your time between older work that needs to be finished and newer work that needs to be kept moving forward.

04/06/24 – 2:11 pm – fast Moon waning sextile Uranus

It’s another waning, finishing, prepare for a new beginning sextile.  Due date for taxes is coming up, perhaps that is what this is about.  Perhaps it is about spring cleaning to get ready for a yard sale or to make room for a new thing such as a wide screen TV.  Whatever it may be, pay attention to the details, but get creative in your planning and actions.

04/07/24 – 1:27 am – fast Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a mutable conjunction with Neptune, the Moon goes void-of-course for almost three hours.  Most will sleep through this.  Be sure to note any dreams, insights, feelings, or other sensations that may come to you in the night.  Being in a mutable sign and with sometimes fuzzy, foggy, Neptune involved, certainty may not be around.  Trust your gut instinct.

04/07/24 – 4:25 am – fast Moon enters Aries

Now in cardinal fire, extreme action oriented Aries, the reflective Moon may seem uncomfortable and, in a hurry, to get through it.  Some may feel the Moon’s dis-ease, while others may experience it through their own roller coaster emotions.

04/07/24 – 7:31 am – fast Moon waxing sextile Pluto

The waxing sextile follows the conjunction and asks that we pause, review how the new things we have started recently are developing and plan what actions we should take next to keep them moving forward.  Less than two hours later, the Moon will conjunct Venus for the last aspect of the day.  This marks the end of their old and the beginning of their new cycle.  It also signals the shifting of aspect energy from consolidating waning to expanding waxing.  What new thing do you want to start today?

04/08/24 – 11:21 am – fast New Moon Total Solar Eclipse cardinal conjunction Sun

This New Moon is at 19 Aries 24l’ and is unique as Chiron is exactly conjunct this New Moon.  Its close proximity to the North Lunar Node makes this a total eclipse.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A young girl feeding birds in winter.”   What does this mean to you?  Might you consider volunteering at a local animal shelter?  What about doing a random act of kindness for a stranger every day?  Do you have a copy of your natal chart?  If so, which house does 19 Aries fall in, in your chart?  This is the area of your life that will most likely be emphasized by this eclipse. 

With Chiron also involved, as both the Moon and Sun will make cardinal conjunctions to Him almost simultaneously with the eclipse, memories of past “hurts,” emotional or physical may come up.  If you haven’t healed from them yet, that might be a good “new” thing to start on.  Find ways to heal any old wounds, issues of abandonment, or betrayal.  Focus on the doable, break them down into small steps,  as that will make them easier to accomplish.

This eclipse is part of Saros Series 139, also known as series 8 North as it is only 4 degrees from the North Lunar Node.  Bernadette Brady opines that this eclipse is about; “Inventiveness and flashes of genius are the hallmark of this Saros Series.  The individual will have intuitive leaps, insights, good ideas, visions or vivid dreams.  This new-found inspiration will pull the person away from his or her social life or relationship, thereby causing strain in the private life.  This is a time when the person needs to be free, if only for a few weeks.”

04/08/24 – 7:39 pm – fast Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following Her cardinal conjunction with retrograde Mercury, the Moon goes void-of-course for almost nine hours.  Take time to reflect on your day, what you have done, and what is left undone for tomorrow.  With retrograde Mercury involved, pay extra attention to all communications, written, electronic, and spoken.

04/09/24 – 4:23 am – fast Moon enters Taurus

Some may feel the shift from cardinal fire Aries to fixed earth Taurus as the Moon moves from the sign of Her detriment into the sign of Her exaltation, thus gaining much strength in Her transits, at least for the next two days.

04/09/24 – 7:35 am – fast Moon waxing fixed square Pluto

This crisis of action square sets the tone for today as it is the only major aspect.  With Pluto involved, choose your actions carefully as only those of pure purpose and intent will be acceptable.  Anything less and you may not obtain the results you expect.

04/10/24 – 3:49 am – fast Moon waxing sextile Mars

As if to make up for yesterday with only one aspect, this is the first of five exact major aspects, including three conjunctions today.  With four aspects by the Moon, this could be a more emotional day for some.  Less than a half hour later, the Moon will make a waxing sextile to Saturn for the second aspect of the day.  The waxing sextile is the first major aspect after the conjunction.  Take time this morning to review how any new things you have started recently are developing.  Then contemplate what actions you should take to keep them moving forward.

04/10/24 – 12:19 pm – fast Moon fixed conjunction Jupiter

This is the third aspect today and the first of three conjunctions.  Marking the beginning of their new cycle, don’t limit yourself when choosing what new thing to begin now.  Go big but go cautiously as Mercury is retrograde and there are more retrogrades ahead.

04/10/24 – 1:36 pm – Mars mutable conjunction Saturn

Their conjunction is at 14 Pisces 41’ and is their only conjunction in Pisces.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “An officer preparing to drill his men.”  The officer is the one in charge.  Drilling is the repetitive practice of coordinated actions so that many may move as one.  This repetitive practice can serve to reinforce a “good” habit, perhaps to replace a “bad” habit.  Is there some skill that you would like to be better at?  Then practice, practice, and practice some more until it becomes second nature to you.  The ancients considered Mars and Saturn to be the lesser and greater malefics; a distinction which has only limited application today.  Mars can be aggressive and impulsive while Saturn can be stoic and stubborn, but together they can create great things.  What new things might you want to start with this conjunction?  Perhaps something that takes extra energy or effort and requires adherence to a set time schedule or a solid foundation.

04/10/24 – 3:18 pm – fast Moon fixed conjunction Uranus

This is the third conjunction and the fifth and final aspect today.  What new thing might you start now?  Think outside of your box, challenge yourself, tap into your creativity, be true to yourself as you consider what it should be.

Forecast April 11-20

On the 11th, we have the Moon going out-of-bounds north and the Sun retrograde Mercury Inferior Conjunction.  On the 15th, there will be six exact major aspects.  On the 18th, the Sun will go void-of-course and then on the 19th, we will have retrograde Mercury conjunct (opposition) Venus (more on this later) and the Sun will enter Taurus.  On the 20th, we have the Jupiter Uranus conjunction, one of five exact major aspects that day.

04/11/24 – 3:04 am – fast Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waxing sextile to Neptune, the Moon goes void-of-course for almost three hours.  Be sure to note any dreams, feelings, or other sensations that you may have.  If something wakes you in the night, note the time, what it was, and how it made you feel.  Since you shouldn’t start anything new during a Moon void-of-course, if you are up before the Moon enters Gemini, stick with your morning routine or whatever you have planned.  Avoid impulsive decisions or starting anything new until after the Moon is in Gemini.

04/11/24 – 4:01 am – fast Moon goes Out-of-Bounds North

The Moon is at 28 Taurus 51’ as She once again journeys beyond the Northern or upper boundary of the Sun.  North represents our future, why we are here and where we are going.  This is a good time for forward thinking, new ideas, and inspirations.  Take time to make or review your plans for the future.  Where do you see yourself in five years?  In ten years?  Have you thought about “retirement” yet?  These are the kind of things that can be productive when the Moon is out-of-bounds North.  Be aware that for some people, their emotions may also seem “out-of-bounds,” that is well beyond normal.

04/11/24 – 5:59 am – fast (OOB) Moon enters Gemini

With the Moon now in Mercury’s mutable air home sign, conversations may take center stage.  Conversations are a two-way street, so be sure to listen, not just talk.  Less than 3  hours later, the Moon will make a waxing air trine to Pluto adding Aquarius’ fixed air, focused quality to the conversations.  Pay attention!

04/11/24 – 4:03 pm – Retrograde Mercury Inferior Conjunction Sun

The inferior conjunction occurs when retrograde Mercury passes between the Sun and the Earth.  This can be considered like a New Mercury (New Moon), the beginning of a new Sun Mercury cycle.  This conjunction is at 22 Aries 32’.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A woman in pastel colors carrying a heavy and valuable but veiled load.”  This suggests that there may be something of value to you that you are or tend to conceal from others.  Sorry to say, but if this is the case, you may not be doing a very good job of concealing it from others as veils may not be opaque.  Ask yourself, is there something that you are trying to conceal from others or that you aren’t seeing clearly?  Like all conjunctions, this is a time for a new beginning.  Ask yourself, why am I trying to hide this from others?  Am I making a “mountain out of a molehill”?  Start with a trusted friend and begin to share this thing, whatever it may be as they may be aware that something is affecting your behavior.

04/11/24 – 8:47 pm – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing sextile Venus

With a preponderance of waxing aspects your emphasis should probably be on newer work in progress.  With this aspect, take time to review your newest work and consider what actions to take next to keep it on track.

04/12/24 – 7:39 am – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing mutable square Saturn

Just over 2 hours later the Moon will make another waxing mutable, crisis of action square, this time to Mars.  This combination suggests that this morning may start out busy so be prepared to “hit the ground running.”  Saturn is like the long distance runner, He likes slow and steady, so pay attention to the details.  Mars is the sprinter; He wants it now!  You may feel as if you are being pulled in opposite directions or as if things are coming at you from all directions.  Keep your cool.  Stay organized.  Avoid impulsive choices.  Remember, Mercury is retrograde, so listen before speaking and choose your words very, very carefully.

04/12/24 – 7:43 pm – average (OOB) Moon waxing sextile retrograde Mercury

Retrogrades symbolize delays, detours, obstacles, the need to go within and reconsider what you were thinking or planning on doing.  This is the pause and consider any new things that you may have started recently aspect.  Take time to consider what your next step in their process should be.  Almost four hours later, just before midnight, the Moon will make another waxing sextile, this time to the Sun.  Perhaps it comes to you in a dream, or something wakes you in the night.  It is like you are being asked to reconsider what you were planning to do first thing in the morning.

04/13/24 – 7:46 am – average (OOB) Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waxing mutable crisis of action square to Neptune, the Moon goes void-of-course for three hours.  With Neptune involved, keep your reality check handy as He has been known to deceive, create illusions, or hide things from you.  The obvious may not be as obvious as it seems.  Set aside any new things until after the Moon enters Cancer.

04/13/24 – 10:45 am – average (OOB) Moon enters Cancer

Back in Her home sign, some may feel this as a sense of comfort or ease; however, that doesn’t mean that you can relax as others may seek your assistance or just expect you to help  them.  Cancer is about nurturing, caring for and helping others.  Sometimes referred to as the “mother” sign, know that you can’t be everything for everyone.  You need to take time to care for yourself.

About 3 1/2 hours later, the Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to Pluto, the first of many in the days ahead.  Things that seemed to be moving smoothly may suddenly get upset.  Things may start to feel uncomfortable, like an itch you can’t scratch or something you can’t quite put your finger on.  Aspects, when the Moon is involved usually don’t last more than a few hours as She moves so fast.  But any aspect involving Pluto, may last longer as He moves so slow.  With no more aspects today, whatever you are feeling, could last a while

04/14/24 – 8:24 am – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing cardinal square Venus

Today starts with this crisis of action square between the two grand ladies of the zodiac.  It is Sunday morning.  Perhaps work on something around your home to make it more pleasing to you.  Connect with your feminine side, the side that is about creating something that will be pleasing to you.  Something that helps you feel more in touch with your world, safe, and secure.

04/14/24 – 2:48 pm – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing water trine Saturn

Today ends with a pair of waxing (expansive), water (emotional), trines (easier flowing) energy.  Saturn demands the truth.  What is it you are truly feeling?  If you can’t be honest with yourself, how can anyone expect you to be honest with them?

04/14/24 – 8:17 pm – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing water trine Mars

The waxing trine follows the crisis of action square.  It is a time to pause and reflect on any recent actions and how they are developing.  Are you seeing the results you expected or is it something else?  If you need to change or fix something, best do it first before tackling anything else.  Mars just wants to act without much regard for the consequences.  This can create a feeling of conflict as Mars prefers the just do it fast and move on approach.  Avoid impulsive decisions.  Consider the possible consequences before taking action.

04/15/24 – 12:12 am – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing cardinal square retrograde Mercury

This is the first of six major aspects today, all by the Moon, so it could feel much like a roller coaster for many.  It is Monday, Tax Day in the USA.  Did something wake you in the night?  If so, note as much information about it as you can, time, circumstances, people, places, and most importantly how you are feeling and how you respond.

Less than one hour later, the Moon will make a waxing sextile to Jupiter followed two hours later by another waxing sextile, this time to Uranus for the second and third aspects of the day, and most will still be sleeping.  The waxing sextile is the first major aspect after the conjunction.  This is the time to review any “new things” you may have started recently and how they are progressing.  Are they on track, do you need to re-do, re-start, re-think, or re-cycle any of them?  Did you overlook an important detail?  The next aspect in sequence is the crisis of action square.  Time to start planning what that should be.

04/15/24 – 12:13 pm – slowing (OOB) Moon waxing cardinal square Sun

This crisis of action square relates back to the new Moon Solar Eclipse of April 8 and is the fourth aspect of the day.  Did you start anything new around that time?  Have you been considering what actions you need to take?  It is time to decide and then do. 

This may also relate back to any new “longer term” things you may have started around the time of the July 17, 2023, New Moon in Cancer.  How are they developing?  Are they on track, or have you set them aside or forgotten about them?  Time to “revisit” them and decide what action to take.  Do you continue to work on them and keep them moving forward or is it time to “scrap” it and consider starting over or just moving on?

04/15/24 – 4:22 pm – slowing (OOB) Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a waxing water trine to Neptune, the fifth aspect of the day, the Moon goes void-of-course for three hours before entering Leo.  Focus on any work in progress.  Start with any actions you have taken today.  Were they correct?  Did you complete your action, or have you left something undone?  Set aside any new things until after the Moon enters Leo.

04/15/24 – 7:24 pm – slow (OOB) Moon enters Leo

Now in the Sun’s home sign of fixed fire Leo, some may seek attention, while others may expect or demand it.  If you expect attention, be sure you are prepared for it and that it is the kind you want.

04/15/24 – 11:23 pm – slow (OOB) Moon fixed opposition Pluto

This is the sixth and final aspect of the day.  The opposition marks the midpoint of the cycle and the point when the energy will begin to shift from expansive waxing to finishing waning.  It is the middle of the month and may be a good time to consider any “due dates” for what you might be working on.  If you haven’t been, you may want to devote some time tomorrow to work on older “things” that may need to be completed this month.

04/16/24 – 8:04 am – Moon returns In-Bounds

The Moon is at 6 Leo 28’ as She returns into the bounds of the Sun.  She will now be expected to “behave” in a more traditional way.  Emotional highs may not be as high, and lows may not be as low.  Some will find that they are better able to “control” their emotions or at least feel as if they can. 

There are no exact major aspects in the PDT Zone today, suggesting that the energy of last night’s Moon Pluto opposition may carry through for most of it.

04/17/24 – 1:03 am – slow Moon waxing fire trine Venus

This is the first of four major and two inconjunct/quincunx aspects today.  Less than   one hour later the Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to Saturn.  The fire element represents our spirit, the “fire” in our souls that moves us.  The waxing trine relates back to the last crisis of action square and what, if any, actions we may have taken at that time.  The waxing inconjunct/quincunx is a call to action, telling us we need to do something, but without giving us any clear guidance or clues as to what that might be.  Did you have a “bad” dream?  Did something wake you in the night?  Note as much information about it as you can, including the time it happened or any times shown or felt in your dream.  Everything is important.

04/17/24 – 8:01 am – slow Moon waxing fire trine retrograde Mercury

Time for a repeat, sort of, of the early morning aspects, just with different participants.  With retrograde Mercury involved, this could relate to any recent communications you may have sent or conversations you may have had.  Did you miss something?  Best reread whatever you sent and make sure it went to the correct people and that it said what you intended to say.  If not, correct it now and apologize if appropriate.

Three hours later the Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to Mars.  This may add some discomfort to the afternoon.  What is it you are feeling and thinking?  Take a few minutes to go within and figure it out.  You have the answers to all of your questions, you just need to find them and acknowledge that you know.

04/17/24 – 1:11 pm – slow Moon waxing fixed square Jupiter

Just over one hour later, the Moon will make another waxing fixed square, this time to Uranus.  These crisis of action aspects also help to set the stage for the Jupiter Uranus conjunction in three days, so pay attention and take notes.  Consider what you are working on.  Jupiter is the expansive, generous one, He wants you to have everything you want and then some.  He can entice us to excess, so it is important to know your limits.  Uranus can be a bit of a mystery as He is known as the revolutionary but also the “teenager” of the zodiac.  Avoid impulsive choices.  Go big, but stay within the limits, great creative, trust your “gut” brain, and yes, you do have one.

04/18/24 – 5:02 am – slow Moon waxing fire trine Sun

Following this aspect, both go Void-of-Course.  The Moon’s will last just over two hours while the Sun’s will last 26 hours.  It is best if you start your day by sticking to your morning routine.  Don’t start anything new until after the Moon is in Virgo.  With the Sun void-of-course, this could be an opportune time to resume any self-help, fitness, or lifestyle changes you started recently but haven’t finished or kept up.

Less than one hour earlier, the Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to Neptune.  Be sure to note any dreams you had in the night with as much detail as you can recall.  Note what you were feeling and any other sensations you had when you woke up.  You don’t need to try and make sense of them now as it may become clear later.

04/18/24 – 7:10 am – slow Moon enters Virgo

Now in analytical, critical mutable earth Virgo, things that were unclear earlier, may begin to take form and help you find your answers.  Just over four hours later, the Moon will make a waning inconjunct/quincunx to Pluto.  While inconjunct/quincunxes aren’t known for providing clear answers, or any answer for that matter, think back to their waxing inconjunct/quincunx on Saturday April 13.  This and their opposition on the 15th may help you to make sense of what this aspect might mean for you.

04/19/24 – 1:59 am – retrograde Mercury conjunct Venus

This conjunction is at 17 Aries 33’.  Because both planets orbit between the Earth and the Sun, they make three different types of conjunctions.  One is when both are in direct forward motion and on the far side of the Sun.  The second is when both are both in apparent retrograde motion and passing between the Earth and the Sun, both of these being “true” conjunctions.  The third is when one is in direct forward motion and the other is in apparent retrograde motion.  That means that one is on the far side of the Sun and the other is passing between the earth and the Sun, making it more like an opposition, an otherwise “impossible” aspect for them to make.  What then can we make of this “impossible” opposition between this pair?  Perhaps, the Sabian Symbol can help.  The symbol for this degree is “An empty   hammock.”  Picture this in your mind if you can (there are some people whose brains are wired in such a way that they can’t create images in their mind).  Is the hammock empty because you just left it, or is it because you are going there?  With Mercury retrograde, consider why you leave the hammock or why are you going to the hammock?  With Venus involved, were or will you be alone or with someone special to you?  Good thoughts, happy times, or not so good or happy?  Coming in the night, be sure to note any dreams, insights, feelings, or other sensations that you may have.  This day has much more to offer, so perhaps it will also provide some answers. 

This is the first of four major aspects, a sign change, and three inconjunct/quincunxes today.  This could be an interesting day to say the least.

04/19/24 – 7:00 am – Sun enters Taurus

Some may feel the energy shift as the Sun moves from action oriented cardinal fire Aries, the sign of their exaltation into fixed earth, slow and steady Taurus.  This could be a good time for any spring cleaning you have been putting off, considering, or planning on doing.  If you don’t have one, consider creating your own personal sacred or special place in your home.  A place where you can go to relax, reflect, renew yourself, your own personal “cave.”

04/19/24 – 8:28 am – Mars waning sextile Jupiter

The waning sextile is their last aspect before their conjunction.  This is the get things finished and start planning for the “new” thing to start next aspect.  Their previous conjunction was May 29, 2022, at 3 Aries 20’.  Did you start any long term project around that time?  If so, how is it doing?  If you haven’t finished it, better get to it.  Good news, their conjunction isn’t until August 14, 2024, at 16 Gemini 41’, so you do have some time to get things finished and make plans.

04/19/24 – 2:53 pm – slow Moon mutable opposition Saturn

This marks the middle of their current cycle.  Like a teeter-totter, it is also a time of finding balance in your life and in your work between newer “stuff” that is still being developed and older or other “stuff” that needs to be completed.

04/19/24 – 4:56 pm – Mars waning sextile Uranus

Like with Jupiter, earlier today, this is their last major aspect before their conjunction.  Their previous conjunction was August 1, 2022, at 18 Taurus 43’.  Their coming conjunction will be July 15, 2024, at 26 Taurus 19’.  Did you start a new job, school, or something else around the time of their previous conjunction?  If so, how is it going?  Time to start considering what, if any, new long term thing you might want to start this summer at their next conjunction.

 Following this the Moon will make three consecutive waxing inconjunct/quincunxes.  The first, just over one hour later to Mercury, followed about 2  hours later by one to Venus and the last one, just over three hours after that to Chiron.  This could make for an interesting, perhaps troublesome, or even some anxiety this evening.  Remember to breathe, focus on what you are feeling and any other sensations around you.  Don’t panic.  Avoid impulsive or hasty decisions.  You may even want to just “be alone.”  That is fine, everyone needs some alone time once in a while.  With Chiron involved, note any aches. pains, or other sensations, whatever your body may be telling you.

04/20/24 – 3:14 am – slow Moon waxing earth trine Jupiter

If yesterday wasn’t enough for you, then perhaps today will fill that need.  This is the first of five exact major aspects and an inconjunct/quincunx today.  This aspect will be followed 14 minutes later (instantaneously in universe time) by another waxing earth trine, this time to Uranus for the second aspect of the day.  Coming at this time, most will probably sleep through them.  If you aren’t one of them, why are you awake?  Did something wake you?  What are you feeling?  Did you forget to do or follow-up on something?  Note whatever it is.  You may want to put it at the top of your to-do list for today.

Waxing trines are the pause and reflect on any recent actions aspect.  Do you need to change something?  Did you double check everything?

04/20/24 – 4:09 am – slow Moon mutable opposition Mars

This is the third aspect of the day.  This is the midpoint in their current cycle.  Find your balance now as the shift from waxing to waning aspects starts with the uncomfortable waning inconjunct/quincunx.  Some may find that their day is starting earlier than they had planned.  If you are one of them, then make the most of this “extra” time and get organized for the day ahead.  Get yourself in a positive mind set and then, with Mars energy, conquer your day.

04/20/24 – 5:20 pm – slow Moon goes Void-of-Course

Following a mutable opposition to Neptune, the fourth aspect of the day, the Moon goes void-of-course for almost three hours.  This is another balance point, with Neptune involved, deception or distraction may get you off track.  Shake it off, clear your mind and get back on track.  This would be a good time to review your day, what you have accomplished and where you should start tomorrow.  The month is 2/3 over.  Check your due dates and begin to shift your focus to things that need to get finished this month.

04/20/24 – 7:27 pm – Jupiter fixed conjunction Uranus

This is the fifth and final exact major aspect today.  It has been over 13 years since their last conjunction, January 4, 2011, at 27 Pisces 02’.  It has been almost 83 years since their last conjunction in Taurus, May 7, 1941, at 25 Taurus 38’.  This year’s conjunction is at 21 Taurus 50’.  The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A white dove over troubled waters.”  Most will agree that these do seem to be troublesome times.  Their last conjunction in Taurus was during World War II, and just seven months before America joined the conflict.  Their previous conjunction in Pisces was also at a time of great changes, particularly in both medicine and technology.  Jupiter is expansive, optimistic, while Uranus is exciting, unanticipated, and innovative.  The white dove is a symbol of peace.  Perhaps the troubled waters will be stilled in the months ahead rather than becoming more turbulent and troublesome.

About 3 1/2 hours later, the Moon will make a waxing inconjunct/quincunx to the Sun to finish the day.  Go out and look at the Moon tonight.  Bask in Her beauty as She reflects the light and power of the Sun on you.

Forecast for April 21-30

By the 21st the current Moon Wobble should be over, maybe.  On the 22nd, Earth Day, the Moon will make seven aspects, three oppositions and four inconjunct/quincunxes.   On the 25th, Mercury will station direct, finally, and the Moon will make five exact major aspects.  On the 27th, Venus will go void-of-course, and on the 28th, Mars will conjunct Neptune.  On the 29th, Venus will return to Her Taurus home and on the 30th, April will end with five exact aspects with Mars going void-of-course briefly, then returning to His Aries home to end the month.
