Thank you for visiting the website for the Sher Astrological Institute Website.  As you navigate your way through the site you will discover the philosophy of our Institute and how that philosophy guides how we approach our curriculum and our teaching of astrology . We regard astrology as an amazing tool for “Self” discovery as it allows a person to gain a deep understanding of themselves, one’s friends and family, and even the world itself.  As we gain this new perspective, we may find that in that process, we are transformed. Announcing Two New Beginning Astrology Classes

The Fall sesason is upon us and we are announcing the formation of a Beginning Astrology class that will be located in Sherman Oaks. If you are interested in taking our class, please contact me at 818-501-7114.  Our classes are kept at a small size so that there will be plenty of time to go into each person’s chart as well as be able to have discussion. The class is am located very near the 101-405 interchange with very easy access to the class.

Also, a new Beginning astrology class on the Westside will begin on Thursday evening, October27, 2011 and is also very easy to access. This class is full at this time, but we are taking names for a waiting list as there may be some positions that open up as we get closer to the start date.

Our Blog

The Institute has an increasingly active Blog with at least one post a week. It also has many responses from readers of the Blog, which are in themselves both valuable and enlightening. The articles describe the transits occurring in that time period and also commentary on the social and political events of the day. They will reflect the times in which we live from an astrological and philosophical perspective.  Some of these articles will be submitted by our students so you can see how astrology is being used in their everyday life. We encourage you to receive the free weekly newsletter so you will hear about our postings immediately and be able to stay up-to-date.
