My Background

I have been a practicing therapist for over 35 years and have worked in social agencies in Kansas City, Missouri, Austin, Texas and had a small private practice in Portland, Oregon. It was when I was in Kansas City that I began studying astrology and saw that I could combine what I was studying with the clients that I was working with at the time. This turned out to be a very fortunate opportunity as I was able to learn astrology in a unique way by applying it with my clients until I became adept at seeing how astrology could be constructively used in a therapeutic setting.

During the same period, I also have received training in depth and transpersonal psychology, which has been of great interest to me for the past 20 years. It has been an amazing journey to discover that there is a tremendously valuable relationship between astrology, psychology and transpersonal and depth psychology.

I am not a licensed therapist in the state of California, as this state does not recognize the experience of therapists from other states. I am practicing, therefore, as an astrological and spiritual counselor.
