Philosophy
The basic philosophy of the school can be summed up in one word: Discovery. When we begin to set out to learn astrology, we are on a wondrous journey where we can discover many things about ourselves and the world we live in. The teaching method I use to assist students in this process is very interactive. We constantly go back and forth between learning astrological principles and applying them to the charts of the students in the class. This allows learning to accelerate as we see astrology being applied personally in our lives.
Also, we seek to go deeper than simply describing what people are like. By engaging in a process where one’s deepest needs and motivations are discovered, we can develop our hidden potentials and new ways to solve life’s problems. It is superficial to define the planets and signs – and ultimately yourself – solely in terms of behaviors and characteristics. When one’s real needs and motivations are discovered and accepted, the spirit within springs forth to claim the path that is aligned with the world in which we live.
As each of us act on our deepest needs and motivations, something else amazing occurs. Having discovered our life’s purpose for being here, we begin to live it and find that the world we are in rises to support us and gives striking direction to our lives.
Our Intention is for you to:
- Gain a greater acceptance of who you are.
- Formulate concrete answers about what you can do to solve problems.
- Identify patterns of timing in your life that reveal when to push forward and when to pull back.
- Proceed with confidence, clarity, and purpose in living your life.
- Experience joy by becoming more aware of what your spirit must express.
- Learn to apply astrological principles by sharing and interacting with others.
