Expanding our Metaphysical School

masthead-groundlessness-01For many years I have focused publicly almost completely on the astrology side of my School. This included my lectures, classes, newsletter articles and most of the content on my website. But privately, this imbalance has not been the case. I have been greatly involved in developing classes and groups for those people interested in expanding their consciousness and exploring ways in which one might do that. Most of the students in these programs have found out about me through either my present classes or by word of mouth from close friends.

This year, 2017, I am ending this imbalance. Although I will be giving more astrology lectures this year, I will be writing more about my approach to both meditation, metaphysics and the transformational process as well as offering Introductory lectures designed to present this side of my School much more publicly.

There is a reason why I have not been as public with my metaphysical courses and groups in the past. After taking a basic meditation course, the next steps ask a student to be willing to go deeper into looking at their belief systems and fears that make up much of one’s internal psyche. This process is very beneficial, but not always easy. In my classes I do make clear how and why it is necessary to look deeper within as it is important for a student to understand why one must develop a willingness to look at the core of one’s inner life. So, it takes some courage to engage in this type of process.

Also, it is helpful to learn much more about a variety of metaphysical principles as part of one’s transformational process. Thus, my classes are about much more than simply learning a meditation technique. As my readers know, there are many techniques being presented to the public nowadays and there are even a huge number of free apps out there that grow by the day. One does not have to take the kind of courses I offer if one just wants to learn to meditate.

Simply put, my courses and groups are composed of both study and practices. There are meditation practices and exercises, but I believe that it is important for students to understand as much as possible before they begin doing any of the practices that will be asked of them in the class.

To explain to my readers more of what I mean, I will be writing articles in the newsletter on some of the topics I cover in my courses and groups such as:

  1. Experiencing the state of Unity.
  2. Going into the nature of the mind and how deeply we are affected by it.
  3. Reconciliation of opposites – its meaning and importance in the transformative process.
  4. Moving into unconditional or total love.
  5. Uniting metaphysics with physics.
  6. Helping the student become aware of ancient principles and their relevance today.
  7. Making ancient wisdom accessible to the modern mind.
  8. Use of a technique I refer to as ‘partner-assisted meditation.’
  9. The necessity of going beyond the mind.
  10. Being of service to others and our larger community.
  11. The great value of working in a metaphysical group.
